Manchester City to wear Emmeline Pankhurst inspired kit when they host Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
The kit will be in honor of Manchester-born Pankhurst who helped found the Women’s Social and Political Union (WSPU) in 1903, which called for the right for women to vote. The green, white and purple coloured kit celebrates Pankhurst’s “Manchester roots and overriding vision for female equality.”
