Switzerland win Women’s Euro 2025 bid

Switzerland have won the bid to host Women’s Euro 2025 with Poland, France and four Nordic countries being turned down.

The news was confirmed following a UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Lisbon on Tuesday afternoon.

It is understood that the following cities where included in Switzerland’s bid: Basel, Geneva, Zurich, Bern, Gallen, Sion, Lausanne and Thun. The city of Basel has the largest stadium in Switzerland called St. Jakob Park.
